Meeting with Dr. Michael J. K. Chin, President of Ling Tung University
President Michael J. K. Chin, president of Ling Tung University in Taiwan, visited our university with his lovely wife on the occasion of the ceremony to commemorate our English name change to St. Thomas University and our acceptance into the International Council of Universities of St. Thomas Aquinas. At that time, President Chin and President Oda signed a document officially linking our two schools, with the aim of exchanging students. It was a great pleasure to have President Chin on our campus and to talk with him in English about a variety of topics related to our universities and universities in other parts of the world. President Chin has traveled to and lived in many different parts of the world, and has a strong vision for promoting student exchange.
